In October 2009 I went for a drive with friends into this canyon north of Albuquerque to an area near the Jemez Valley in New Mexico. I found the area awe inspiring and it filled my mind with ideas like never before. We drove up through the canyon until we came to a couple of tunnels, stopping to take lots of pictures.
