In September 2008 I went to Lanzarote, my first holiday outside Britain and Ireland since my trip to Hawaii in 1984. I suppose I feel drawn to places with volcanoes. Cameras used Canon EOS 3, & Canon A 85

Green Cave

Cueva de los Verdes, the Green Cave, in the northern region of the island. Beautifully lit caves deep underground

	A secret place to be found hidden deep inside the Cueva de los Verdes
	Deep inside the caves, there is no echo and concerts are given in specially made auditoriums
	Superior lighting makes for a great atmosphere in the caves
